Moments of Transition

We could say that light gives life to everything, that it makes things appear and disappear. Day and night, like photography, are a matter of light. Over time, I discovered that there are very brief moments of the day that, due to physical aspects of light, are exceptional.

When I walk my dog, I usually go through the same places at different times of the day, partly by chance and partly on purpose. The thing is, I see the same places constantly changing, solely because of the light that makes them visible.

I enjoy observing the moment of transition between the light given by the sky and the light provided by people.
That moment where everything is light, but it's still not clear if it's daytime; however, one thing is certain: night is coming.

This luminous darkness makes me feel that everything becomes one, that the sky and civilization blend together, and for a short period of time, it's neither night nor day, and nothing else matters.
This work was exhibited at the Mulazzi Museum in the city of Tres Arroyos, Buenos Aires, Argentina during the months of September, October, and November of the year 2021.
